Alona Tatarova serves as the Executive Director of the Institute for Fiscal and Economic Studies (IFES), where she is responsible for strategic development and program implementation to promote economic literacy and fiscal responsibility in Greece. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Peloponnese and a Master’s degree in Political Communication from Panteion University.

Previously, she was the Communications Director at the Center for Liberal Studies (KEFiM), overseeing the organization’s external and internal communication, media relations, and campaigns. She also served as Project Coordinator and Head of the Greek Office of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom, where she led initiatives supporting liberal thought and women’s empowerment programs.
