The 2025 Citizens’ Budget is a non-technical presentation of the State Budget, designed to make the government’s choices regarding public revenues and expenditures more accessible and understandable. As emphasized by international organizations such as the International Budget Partnership (IBP), the existence of such a document is crucial for transparency and citizen participation in the fiscal process.
The Citizens’ Budget provides insights into:
- Key economic indicators, macroeconomic forecasts, and potential challenges.
- Public revenues and expenditures, offering comparisons with previous years and analyzing fiscal policy interventions.
