Pensions remain one of the most critical and complex public policy issues. Demographic developments and high fiscal costs are constantly limiting our options and necessitate a sober and evidence-based discussion on real reform alternatives.

The Institute for Fiscal and Economic Studies, with the support of ELETEA, is holding the event “Pension System Reform 2.0: For a modern and resilient pension system in Greece” in the context of which we discuss solutions and present a new proposal as a basis for a substantive public debate on the insurance sector.

Which institutional and financial options ensure both pension adequacy and long-term sustainability? What is the role of the three pillars in the aftermath of the reform in order to reduce unilateral dependence on demographics and strengthen adequacy?

We are waiting for you, on Wednesday, March 4, at 18:00 at Nomiki Bibliothiki premises. The detailed program will be announced soon. The discussion will be conducted in Greek.
